Originally a limited edition release on the now defunct EMI subsidiary dance label New Religion, both the original and Carl Craig remixes of Kirk Degiorgio's "Nairobi" have long been in demand after being out-of-print for several years. Almost 10 years after it's creation, Nairobi is still a mainstay on the dancefloor's - kept alive by those DJ's who bagged a copy first time around. Testament to it's longevity is it's inclusion of Craig's remix on the latest DJ Hell mix CD for Get Physical - introducing it to an even wider audience than it's initial techno purist fan-base. Logical then for Degiorgio's ART label to re-acquire the rights for re-release this September. Newly remastered for both vinyl and digital formats, with worldwide distribution from techno specialists Rubadub - this release promises to satisfy the demand for this rare beauty.
