Jobs from Love Lost
William Shakespeare
The King of Navarre agrees with his three vassals to study for three years, maintaining an ascetic life that excludes contact with women. But the Princess of France and her entourage arrive at court. There is a subplot starring a Spanish character, the eccentric Armado, whose page is called Moth. They are accompanied by Costard, a clumsy villain. Armado loves Jaquineta. Another group of secondary characters is made up of Holofernes, the pedantic schoolmaster, the priest Nataniel, and Dull, the bailiff. How could it be otherwise, the king and his four nobles break the pact and fall in love respectively with the princess and the three ladies of his entourage.
