Alice's Adventures in Wonderland Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, commonly abbreviated to Alice in Wonderland, is a fantasy novel written by British mathematician, logician, photographer, and writer Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll, published in 1865. The story tells how a girl named Alice falls down a hole, finding herself in a peculiar world, populated by humans and anthropomorphic creatures.
