A few years after the end of Afropean, Laetitia and Stéphane are still very much in love despite the distance that separates them. Laetitia is determined to build her life with him even though their relationship is not always viewed favorably because she is black and he is white. Far from the South of France, Laetitia has blended in with the crowd of American students and has almost forgotten her desire to change the world.
