Alice's Adventures In Wonderland and Through The Looking-Glass

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland tells the fantasy fiction story of a young girl named Alice, who falls through a rabbit hole into a subterranean fantasy world populated by peculiar, anthropomorphic creatures. In Through the Looking-Glass, Carroll expands on Alice's fantasy fiction adventures where she slips through a mirror and finds herself back in Underland with the White Queen, the Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Her friends tell her that the Mad Hatter is in a funk over the loss of his family so she tries to save his loved ones, by traveling into the past. While there, she encounters the younger Hatter and the evil Red Queen.
