"Tickey Bananas," came the voice of his mother from up the tree. She didn't sound happy at all!
"Yes, Mama?" Tickey squeaked.
She pointed at the pile of trash by the base of the tree, "Didn't I tell you to get rid of that trash before you went to bed?"
Tickey looked at the pile of banana peels, rotten mangos, and other fruits and realized it was the trash he'd thrown out on the other side of the jungle the night before.
But what's it doing back here? Am I sleepwalking? Tickey thought, scratching his head while he tried explaining to his mother that he'd thrown away the trash.

Along the way, he saw Benjie Bear raking leaves with a frown on his face."Benjie, what's wrong?" Tickey asked. Benjie was the happiest bear he'd known, but he looked so sad.
"I can't go collect honey from the valley bees until I've raked all the leaves," Benjie grumbled.
Tickey looked at the leaves, it didn't look like it would take longer, so he decided to help.
But no sooner had they finished than the leaves were scattered all over the place again.
"How can this keep happening?!" Benjie grumbled, throwing his hands up and falling onto the scattered leaves.
"Leave it to me; I'll get to the bottom of this mystery!" Tickey said, leaping onto a rock and landing on his bottom with a bounce.
