The Importance of Being Earnest
Oscar Wilde
The story tells the life of John Worthing, a carefree young gentleman, inventor of a fictional brother, "Ernest", whose wicked ways give John a clear excuse to leave his country house from time to time and go to London, where he stays with his close friend and confidant., Algernon Moncrieff.
