The backstory to A Season of ChangeThe rumble of the toms, crash of the cymbals, and stroke of a guitar's strings are the sounds most pleasing to the ear. Especially when those sounds are bouncing against the church walls in the height of a Pentecostal church service. At least that is the case for Nicky Davis and Lewis Donavon. Hoping to make a name for themselves as musicians, Nicky and Lewis join their church's state teen choir. However, the choir's director Brother Mallett proves to be no brush over and is determined to show the boys they still have much to learn. As the years go by Nicky and Lewis slowly realize that if they are ever going to be truly good church musicians they will have to have much more than talent.
