These and other stories probe the harder, darker edges of love, shame, violence, and the uncertainties of future the youth of all cultures face. Adolescence is a tough time under normal conditions, but toss in the misery of love, hate, sexuality, and drugs, and challenges arise that can make, break, and alter the course of young lives.
