The story revolves around Beth Ann and Jonathan after she takes a job at his magazine. She's strongly attracted to him but he's trapped in a dead marriage. He finds himself increasingly drawn to Beth and promotes her to a new position as his assistant. She's struggling under debts from her past and with her increasing desire for her married boss.
