The book focuses on the positives associated with ADHD. When the young boy in the book receives his ADHD diagnosis he is not discouraged but instead is motivated to try to figure out how his brain works. Watching his thoughts whiz by, he compares his thinking process to a speeding race car with no brakes. Recognizing his brain's unique assets, he enthusiastically describes in great detail some of his ADHD superpowers. Wisely acknowledging the traits that he needs to work on, he adds asking for help to his expanding list of superpowers.
