Poems by Carol Ann Nasta, who was born and bred in Queens, NYC, and is a lifelong New Yorker. She received BFA and MS degrees from Hunter College, and taught mainly early childhood at PS 155, Brooklyn. She likes to say the kids brought out 'the child within,' and she enjoyed her career. She's a jazz enthusiast; has travelled a lot; has been a tour guide at the American Museum of Natural History for over thirty years; she respects and loves animals and is studying Italian, the language of her heritage. High Season: Poems and Musings is her first collection of poetry. The poems were written between the late 1960s and contemporary times.
