Bill Abbott has been around Poetry Slam for A Long Time; as a matter of fact, he was around Slam in the Southeast, also known as Southern Fried, from 1992 to 1999. Around his moments of performing poetry, he took lots of notes and paid lots of attention. Over the last few years, he has taken those notes and done lots of interviews. The end result: Let Them Eat MoonPie®, the first ever story of Southern Fried through the '90s.
