Reina Valera New Testament of the Bible 1862 (Spanish) (Spanish Edition)
The Reina-Valera is a Spanish translation of the Bible, first published in 1569 in Basel, Switzerland and nicknamed the "Biblia del Oso" (Bible of the Bear). Its principal translator was Casiodoro de Reina, an independent evangelical theologian but it was a community project. This translation was based on the Hebrew Masoretic Text and the Greek Textus Receptus. As secondary sources Reina was aided by the translations of Francisco de Enzinas and Juan Pérez de Pineda. The 1862 version was the first revision since 1602.
