H. P. Lovecraft's classic work of horror, illustrated in the style of Edward Gorey"The Call of Cthulhu" is the first in a series of H. P. Lovecraft stories illustrated in the art style of cartoonist/illustrator Edward Gorey. Though Gorey illustrated the writing of a large number of writer's work, including H. G. Welles' "War of the Worlds", for some reason, this wonderfully macabre writer/illustrator, never created illustrations of the work of H. P. Lovecraft. Cartoonist Jerry Voigt imagines what Lovecraft's work might have looked like if they had been illustrated by Gorey.
