Claire is a friendly and happy girl. She's a first grader and a bit too perfectionist: she thinks that making mistakes means failing and she doesn't want to see her teacher's red corrections on her schoolwork, she's scared of them. So she begins to feel bad, till one day her belly starts to hurt so much. "What if the growling Red Xs Monster had just come to live in my belly?" thinks Claire all scared.
