These three statements represent the beginning, the middle and the end of a truth that eludes far too many Christians. Victor Hamakim draws his definition of sanctified success from 1 John 2:15-17, and declares it plainly: "... And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." Scripturally, God's idea of prosperity is far removed from what many people think it is.
