She obtained her architecture degree from the California Institute of the Arts and an MA in architectural history at the University of California at Los Angeles. Contributor Bio: Inouye, Amy Book designer Amy Inouye also makes and curates art projects (Book Booth Highland Park), coordinates historic preservation projects (Relighting the Historic Signs of Figueroa Street), and is "mom" to Chicken Boy (aka the Statue of Liberty of Los Angeles on Historic Route 66 in Highland Park 90042) and proprietor of the Chicken Boy Souvenir Stand. She is president of Photo Friends of the Los Angeles Public Library, active in the North Figueroa Association, Ebell Club of Highland Park, and many other neighborhood groups.
