Religion, An Accident of Birth, an intriguing subject, is an account if my faith experience and that of others in Vietnam, Iran, Iraq, Russia, and Kosova. Recent history and the unfairness of life for many people are addressed. Questions are raised about integrity in religion and the place of faith in human experience. Insights gained from sixteen mission trips to the Middle East and Eastern Europe bring an understanding to the events of September 11th and the horrible recurring violence and suicide bombings playing out in Iraq I try to be a voice for those killed by religious extremists.
