A quite rare SF play for theater. An ill-informed extraterrestrial alien is determined to seduce a man close to suicide, for the purpose of creating a new "superior" hybrid species. But the alien misunderstand the man's sexual preferences and this leads to complications. The result is a funny and entertaining comedy. The piece was written in 1990 and it was published in 1993 as a gift to the attenders of the Eurocon (the European science fiction convention) in Jersey. For a quarter of a century those booklets managed to survive and to circulate in underground circles and they still get traded on Ebay and other platforms. This new edition is finally available to everyone worldwide. Because of its open and elastic approach to the issues of sexual gender and transgender identity, Somebody Up There Is Lusting For Me has been very well received also in gay intellectual circles.
