Epstein and Walker show how judicial decisions are influenced by a myriad of political factors, from lawyers and interest groups, to the shifting sentiments of public opinion, to the ideological and behavioral inclinations of the justices.

Marc Notes: Includes bibliographical references and index. Publisher Marketing: Political factors influence judicial decisions. Drawing on political science as much as from legal studies, this book helps students realize that Supreme Court cases are more than just legal names and citations.
