Reverend Thomas Webster (1809-1901) was an Irish immigrant to Canada, an editor and an author. Born in Ireland, his family emigrated to America in 1812, and then moved to Canada. He began teaching Sunday School and was ordained into the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1840. He was the author of: Woman: Man's Equal (1873) and Life of Rev. James Richardson, a Bishop of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Canada (1876).
