W. D. Conybeare
Building on earlier work by co-author William Phillips (1773–1828), this overview of the geological composition of England and Wales first appeared in 1822, bolstered by the input of William Conybeare (1787–1857). Although no second volume was ever published, the book had a tremendous impact on geologists throughout Europe.
